Description
The TP-Link EAP723 BE3600 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 access point designed for reliable wireless networking in homes, offices and business environments. It operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands and provides maximum signal rates of 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz. This gives the access point a combined maximum wireless signal rate of up to 3570 Mbps.
The EAP723 uses Wi-Fi 7 technologies such as 4K-QAM and Multi-RUs to improve wireless efficiency and support multiple simultaneous transmissions. It also supports MU-MIMO, OFDMA, beamforming, band steering and airtime fairness. The 5 GHz radio supports up to 160 MHz channel bandwidth for the EU BE3600 version.
A 2.5G Ethernet port provides the wired network connection and supports 802.3at PoE, allowing power and network connectivity to be delivered over a compatible Ethernet connection. The access point can also operate from a 12V DC power supply, although the power adapter is not included.
The compact 160 x 160 x 36.7 mm enclosure is designed for ceiling or wall mounting, with mounting kits included. Omada features provide centralised management through compatible Omada controllers and support Mesh networking and seamless roaming for deployments using multiple compatible access points.
Security and network management features include WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 security options, VLAN support, wireless client isolation, rogue AP detection, access control, captive portal authentication, MAC filtering and support for multiple SSIDs. Up to 16 SSIDs are supported, with up to 8 on each wireless band.
