Overview Summary

Description

The Insta360 Third-Person Backpack Mount CINSTAV/C is designed for creators who want to capture immersive footage from behind their body without having to hold the camera. By positioning a compatible Insta360 camera on a backpack-mounted carbon fiber pole, the accessory creates a distinctive third-person viewpoint that can produce drone-like perspectives during outdoor activities.

The mounting system combines a backpack attachment frame with adjustable backpack and waist straps to provide a practical setup for a wide variety of backpacks. The lightweight construction is designed to avoid unnecessarily restricting movement, making it suitable for active filming where freedom of movement is important.

The included carbon fiber pole extends the camera behind the user and helps create the elevated viewpoint associated with third-person action footage. This makes the mount useful for recording cycling, motorcycling, hiking, skiing, snowboarding and other adventures where hands-free operation and an unusual perspective can add visual impact to the finished video.

Compatible cameras listed by Insta360 include the X6, X5, X4 Air, X4, X3, Ace Pro 2, Ace Pro, Ace, ONE RS, ONE X2, ONE R, ONE X and ONE. When used with the Insta360 Ace Pro 2, Ace Pro or Ace, a Quick Release Mount or 3-Prong to 1/4" Adapter is required and is sold separately.

Because the camera is mounted behind the user, care should be taken to avoid collisions that could damage the camera. Insta360 also advises that using the mount with an empty backpack may affect the result.
