Seven RJ45 ports provide passive PoE input at 10/100/1000 Mbps, while the eighth RJ45 port provides passive PoE output. The PoE input supports 24 V or 48 V operation, but the two voltage levels cannot be mixed.
The reverse PoE design allows the switch to receive power from PoE injectors connected to user outlets and then provide network connectivity and passive PoE output to compatible equipment.
