Overview

Secure your home without sacrificing comfort by creating an invisible perimeter around windows, doors, and corridors with the Ajax MotionProtect Curtain Jeweller in Black. This advanced indoor motion detector is designed to guard high-value assets and entry points while allowing occupants and pets to move freely inside the property. Unlike traditional sensors that cover entire rooms, this device projects a narrow beam parallel to the wall, ensuring strict protection even when you are relaxing at home.

Description

The Ajax MotionProtect Curtain Jeweller (SKU: AJX-M-MPN-B) combines cutting-edge dual optical technology with long-range wireless connectivity to deliver superior security. It features a proprietary system that processes twice the data of standard detectors, using twin infrared sensors and a multifaceted mirror to eliminate blind spots and false alarms. With an impressive battery life of up to three years, encrypted two-way communication reaching 1,700 meters, and pet immunity designed for large breeds, this smart detector offers reliable, maintenance-free protection. The quick 3-minute setup via the Ajax app and SmartBracket mounting system makes it easy to integrate into any existing security ecosystem.

Features

Perimeter Security Without Isolation
Traditional motion detectors often require you to disarm a zone just to walk through a room, leaving your property vulnerable. The MotionProtect Curtain solves this by casting a tight, wall-parallel beam along glass doors and hallways. This allows for 24/7 perimeter defense without forcing occupants to avoid specific areas or disable security sensors while at home.

The system utilizes a dual PIR optical precision design that analyzes signals from two sensors instantly. This advanced processing eliminates false alarms caused by moving curtains, heat currents, or pets, ensuring that only genuine intrusions trigger an alert. Whether an intruder runs past or creeps slowly, the device detects the movement with exceptional accuracy.

Ideal Applications and Smart Integration
This versatile security solution is perfect for a variety of environments where traditional sensors are impractical. It can be installed in residential windows to guard glass doors without disabling the system, protect garages operating down to -10degrees C, or create invisible boundaries in art galleries and museums. For long passageways, it offers corridor protection without room-wide intrusion detection.

The device operates on the encrypted Jeweller radio protocol, which features automatic power adjustment and immediate alerts if signal jamming occurs. Installation is tool-free and takes only seconds; users simply scan a QR code using the Ajax app to name the device and secure it with the included SmartBracket or angle bracket.
