RG-AP840-I-V2

Description

The RUIJIE RG-AP840-I-V2 is a robust indoor ceiling/wall access point engineered for enterprise and high-density wireless environments. Powered by Wi-Fi 6 dual-radio architecture and featuring up to six spatial streams, it delivers blazing-fast combined throughput, enabling seamless connectivity even under heavy user load. Its smart energy-saving design and flexible power options-including PoE or DC-make it versatile and efficient.

Featuring comprehensive security mechanisms and a rich suite of authentication options (including Web, MAB, SMS, QR code), this AP ensures secure access control. It also includes integrated IoT support with BLE and a passive PoE port for sensor extension. Whether used standalone or managed through cloud or on-prem controllers, it supports both fat and fit modes, offering deployment flexibility to match organisational needs.

Features

• 5G optical port and 5G electrical port for flexible networking
• Upgraded to Wi-Fi 6, a combined data rate of up to 5.378 Gbps
• 160 MHz and 6 spatial streams for smoother wireless experiences
• Unified WIS cloud management, intelligent O&M

5G Optical Port and 5G Electrical Port for Flexible Networking
One 5G optical port supports an all-optical network. With Ruijie All-Optical i-Share+ Solution, this port helps achieve fiber access in rooms. One 5G electrical port is also provided to meet existing networking requirements.

High Concurrency
OFDMA and MU-MIMO are introduced to ensure stable access of multiple STAs

Low Latency
OFDMA is applied to transmit data to multiple STAs simultaneously. The latency is as low as 20 ms.

High Security
The next-generation wireless encryption protocol WPA3 greatly improves the security of wireless connection.

High Speed
With 1024-QAM modulation, the data transmission rate is 25% higher than 802.11ac.

160 MHz and 6 Spatial Streams Delivering Smoother Wireless Experiences
Compared with traditional 80 MHz, 160 MHz allows larger traffic per unit time. With dual radios and 6 spatial streams, the AP has stronger data sending and receiving capability.

Unified Cloud Management Intelligent Tuning and Easier O&M
WIS Cloud Network enables network-wide configuration and tuning, removing the need of onsite commissioning. It also supports O&M on the mobile app Wi-Fi Moho. With early warning of network faults, wireless networks can be monitored anytime and anywhere.
