The Canon WP-DC45 Waterproof Case for PowerShot D20 Digital Camera is a durable, clear underwater housing for your compact digital camera. Capture great images beneath the surface to a depth of up to 131.2' (40 m). The case is also great for shooting during inclement weather. Simply drop the camera in and close the housing via the snap closure. The WP-DC45 is configured with mechanical, push-button controls enabling access to all camera functions: On / Off, Shutter, Play, Menu, Mode selection / Up button, FUNC. / SET button, Movie button, Display / Down button, Macro / Left button, Flash / Right button, Zoom button / Wide-angle shooting / Playback index, and Zoom button / Telephoto shooting / Magnify Playback. The WP-DC45 is constructed from clear polycarbonate and has an integrated flat port. To prevent the housing from floating underwater, it's recommended that you purchase the WW-DC1 Waterproof Case Weight (sold separately). It comes configured with a tripod socket and a cold shoe for mounting accessories. The housing also has a built-in diffusion plate for softening the light of the camera's flash, thus preventing harsh light from causing glare and hard shadows. Also included is a cover for this diffusion plate, to prevent scratches when the plate and flash are not in use. You can also use an optional external flash via a fiber optic cable (external flash and cable sold separately). A neck strap, wrist strap and silicone grease are included.
