For 2012, we made improvements to Samsung Smart TV to maximise your internet TV experience+. As a start we introduced a Full Web Browser that is HTML5 and Flash compatible, so everything appears as it should when surfing the net. Inputting text on a conventional Samsung TV remote control becomes a thing of the past thanks to USB keyboard and mouse῀ compatibility on Samsung’s 2012 Smart TVs.

The LED backlight on the EH5300 series is automatically adjusted according to the video signal to deliver exceptional contrast and bright, clear images.

Contrast aided by cell light control technology
Black pixels are switched off using Samsung’s cell light control technology, delivering deep blacks and amazing contrast.

Stay in touch with SKYPE
Simply connect the optional Skype camera to the USB input, gather everyone together and start Skyping almost instantly. What’s more, SKYPE can work in the background, so you don’t miss a call when watching TV. Supports video calls up to 720p HD for outstanding clarity. Picture in Picture view lets you see how you look to the person on the other side.

Intelligent Light Sensor
Neatly hidden from view on the EH5300 series LED TV is Samsung’s unique intelligent light sensor that measures the intensity of the room’s light and automatically calibrates the brightness of the on-screen picture to try and match the viewing environment. In brighter environments, the screen is made brighter to improve clarity and in dimmer surroundings, the intensity reduced. This helps to optimise the viewing experience.

High Energy Star Rating
With an Energy Star rating of 8 stars the EH5300 series LED TV provides an immersive internet and TV viewing experience while minimising energy consumption.

Cloud sharing
AllShare Play is Cloud capable giving you the flexibility to access and share lots of your favourite content when you’re away from home. Simply upload using your Cloud-enabled device and stream and view on your Samsung Smart TV.

Content across all your compatible devices
Samsung’s AllShare Play unites all your compatible wireless devices through DLNA technology so that your favourite movies, photos and music can be shared, streamed, listened and viewed on your Samsung Smart TV. If your wireless devices support Wi-fi Direct, you can send content directly to your TV without going through your home wireless router.

Watch and listen from USB - ConnectShare Movie
The versatile ConnectShare Movie USB function lets you connect your USB storage device and enjoy your favourite videos such as MKV, DivxHD and WMV files, photos or music conveniently. What’s more compatible USB storage devices such as external hard disk drives are also supported.
