Description

The Apex 3 TKL Amethyst (Part Number: 64951) combines premium performance with affordable accessibility. The keyboard boasts brilliant PrismSync RGB lighting across eight zones, allowing you to sync colors with other SteelSeries devices or customize effects based on game events. With dedicated multimedia controls including a clickable volume roller and anti-ghosting technology that supports up to 24 simultaneous key presses, this device offers reliability in the heat of battle.

Features

Form Factor for Competitive Play
Professional gamers prefer tenkeyless layouts because removing the number pad creates more space for low-sensitivity mouse swipes. This compact design allows players to position their hands closer to the center of the desk, promoting better posture and reducing strain during long gaming sessions. The frame includes three built-in cable routing channels, keeping your setup tidy by securing the connection point in a way that minimizes clutter on your workspace.

Durability and Switch Technology The Apex 3 utilizes new Whisper-Quiet switches made with durable low-friction materials. Unlike standard membrane keyboards where performance degrades over time, these switches use a highly durable POM rubber dome sheet that is ten times more resistant to wear. This construction ensures the key feel remains consistent and responsive even after millions of presses. The keyboard is fully water-resistant and dust-proof, protecting internal components from common accidents in gaming environments.

Bright Customizable Lighting Bring your setup to life with PrismSync lighting technology offering 16.8 million colors across eight distinct zones. Users can create dynamic effects that react to game events or synchronize the RGB patterns across multiple SteelSeries peripherals for a cohesive look. The dedicated multimedia controls let you adjust brightness, rewind tracks, skip songs, or pause media instantly without leaving your game or searching through operating system menus.

Software Integration and Control SteelSeries Engine software provides an intuitive interface to configure lighting effects and program complex macros with a single click. This tool allows for advanced key combinations to be assigned to specific keys, streamlining gameplay actions. The software is designed for ease of use, enabling quick reprogramming of any key or adjustment of visual settings in seconds.
