The most popular interfaces allow datatale portable 3.5-inch hdd enclosure provide easy access and convenience for travel. It works seamlessly with the datatale 2-bay and 4-bay raid sytems as the backup kit.
Targeting power users and professionals, the datatale portable 3.5-inch hdd enclosure has aluminum housing to maintain optimum temperature for hdd operation, and our smartguider* to simplify hdd positioning and swapping. It partners well with datatale 2-bay & 4-bay raid systems as comprehensive yet reliable backup kits, which are already packaged together for convenience! When jbod or mirror mode is applied, the individual drive in the raid unit can be removed, and the data inside can be accessed by datatale portable 3.5-inch hdd enclosure.

Multiple interfaces
The datatale portable 3.5-inch hdd enclosure provides two popular interfaces, enabling use of a sata hdd with any host system with a usb2.0 or esata connection.

Special features
The patented smartguider's sleek handle and auto-limiting segmented screws prevent hdd damage from over-tightening enabling easy removal and insertion of the hdds. The lasso foot design in the two edges allows the enclosure to sit stably on the desktop. The twist locks secures hdd's position when the external hdd is moving around. The open-back design eliminates the need for a fan and is especially suitable for power users who swap hdds often. It has the hdd spin up/down function to ensure efficient operation by reducing power consumption.

For users with new computers that provide pci-express card slot or expresscard slots but no esata ports, the 2-port esata pci-express card or 2-port esata expresscard adapters provide two esata ports enabling use of datatale portable 3.5-inch series enclosures.
